NC GreenPower

Progress Energy offers its North Carolina customers the opportunity to participate in a voluntary environmental program called NC GreenPower.

NC GreenPower is a statewide effort to improve the environment by using "green power," electricity generated from renewable resources such as solar, wind, biomass and water. The non-profit NC GreenPower organization is the result of collaboration among electric utilities, environmentalists, state regulators and energy generators.

Palmetto Clean Energy (PaCE)

Progress Energy is also pleased to offer its South Carolina customers the opportunity to participate in a voluntary environmental program called Palmetto Clean Energy, or PaCE.
